Biography: Donna Lockhart

Career Summary                                                                                                    

Throughout her career in community development, Donna has worked primarily in leadership positions in the non-profit sector. She has worked in the social, health, recreation and education sectors with a primary focus on voluntary sector management.

A progressive career path has led her to positions of leadership including:

  • Director of Volunteer Leadership Development for United Way Peterborough & District
  • Executive Director of Junior Achievement
  • Director of Staff Development and Activation for Marycrest Home for the Aged
  • Executive Director of PAVR-O (Professional Administrators Volunteer Resources Ontario)

Donna has often combined part time work and self-employment. She has been fully self-employed since 2003. Clients and organizations appreciate her skills in board leadership development, volunteer management, interpersonal relations and team building, project management, strategic planning, problem solving, facilitation and training, change management and research. Her objective nature, combined with creativity, supports an entrepreneurial approach to work. Donna’s positive attitude and cooperative nature in building relationships have given her an excellent reputation.
